Burn, Baby, Burn~♪♫♪ [[Private; Amayah and Mr. Fishy~]]

The day was blazing hot to the point that even the ground was horrible to step on, unless in VERY good shade. Flying through this intense heat just barely was a young Wasp-Firefly Hybrid. She buzzed through the air with her petite body--which wasn't consuming much heat because of the small mass she had.

"I really hope there's something to do here, or I should just keep going..." The girl said ending with a sigh. Coming to a town, the first thing she spotted was a large shadow casted by a very large building that was barely standing. Smiling, her small body was quick and nimble to dive to the shade with incredible speed--she loved being a wasp for this reason.

Landing in the shade, she perched herself against a nice cool rock--though, in reality it wasn't all that cold, it was a more comfortable tempature than that fire-lit wasteland of Kenya. She smiled and closed her eyes momentarily, not really paying mind to whther or not someone might be there--but then again, who would want to be in such a hot, horrible place? She was only there because she needed a quick escape from some elaphant hybrids that luckily weren't all that fast.

At first the insect girl had not opened her eyes as she was being approached--she was too lost in herself from being in the nice, cool shade after such a long travel of heat. She's surprised she hasn't been toasted and fried into a wasp-on-a-stick yet. Giggling at that horrible joke, she opened her eyes to see a rather big woman compared to her own size coming slowly towards her. Unsure what to do, she tried fleeing backwards for the moment to get distance--but then it hit her: She was on a wall. Letting out a small huff, she backed up a bit.

"W-Who are...?" She couldn't really form the words in her mind. She really hoped she wasn't about to be killed, because she can't fly all too well anymore from her exhausted wings since they just got a small rest from retreating from some rather fast hybrids.

Looking up, the soul before her seemed to be...friendly. With her frown turning into a soft smile, Lumin took the hand of Jendayi--still a bit hesitantly--and shook it casually. "Hello, Ms. ...Apology is accepted," she replied as smoothly as possible. She took a good look at the woman before her. She looked powerful, mighty. She could feel heat burning deep within the hand she was shaking--well, actually, that just might be the heat that they were in.

Looking to the side, she noticed that the wildfires were starting to blaze a little more. She felt worried that they might become trapped in it soon enough, but made no signal of her thoughts noticable.

Jendayi

”I have come to provide thee with structure, I will train you; if thee wishes to join me in our journey to greatness.” ~

Taking her hand and shaking it too, Jendayi pulled back her clawed hand and bowed her head. "Very well." She said softly and looked around her, noticing the deadly fires all about, making it even hotter. "Oh, my. Isn't it lovely?" Jedayi said in a dreamy tone as her purring became audible- but barely. Smiling wider, Jendayi looked back at the girl. "I am Jendayi, and who might you be?" She asked politely before closing her eyes and summoning up all her concentration and power. "You don't look the type to like heat, let me cool you down. ~ She said gracefully before standing up and straightening her back, drawing herself up to full height and towering over the girl.

Jendayi lifted her hands and opened her arms in an embracing formation. She looked as though she expected the sun to greet her with a warm hug, but instead, a large, black cloud formed over her head about 50 feet in the air. Usually, hail would come from this cloud... But this was not Jendayi's intention this time. Jendayi used her ice powers instead to make gentle snowflakes fall from the cloud, just over Lumin's head. A gentle breeze also blew around her, cooling them both. Smiling happily, she nodded her head. "Ah. That better?" She asked friendily with a wink as she crouched down again.
