Falling stars, possible hope.

~Luna~

Luna looked around the cold empty nightfilled desert. Her eyes scanned the sandy floor below her, then the dotted sky above. She finally made her choice. She would look at the constallations. Luna looked down once more, before settling onto the grainy sand. Taking her jacket off, and folding it into a pillow shape, she lay it under her head. Looking up and realxing she started searching. She soon found, Ursa Major, Ursa Minor, Orions Belt, and a few more. Then she saw a shooting star. Her eyes focusing on the trail it made. She silently made a wish on it. I want someone who I can talk to. For once just someone not out to kill me. She already ahd the knowledge that was unlikely to happen, but it was worth a shot, eh.? Luna watched the falling ball of firey plasma, dissappear into the never ending 'field' of stars.

Arashi was wandering around the dessert. All of a sudden she heard movement. She was thinking:What is that. Should I run. She thooght she should have but instead she found herself moveing closer.
Thank godShe said when she figured out that the noise was just someone ... almost ... like her. She layed down beside the other ... half bread ... and looked up at the stars, too.

Amayah.

Sitting atop the pyramid of Ja-Kal, Amayah looked up at the sky. Purring to herself, she smelled the cold, fresh night's air. She was filled with peace and decided to go for a flight on this clear, perfect night. Opening her wings, she began flapping hard. Soaring high above the pyramid, and leaving it behind her, she closed her eyes a little to enjoy it all.

After a few minutes of this, she opened her eyes again and looked down on the ground. Amayah saw two hybrids laying down. Wondering if she should swoop down, she just continued to soar high above them like a shooting star herself. I wonder what they are doing, Amayah thought somewhat happily to herself.

Luna was fully conscous of the girl as she lay next to her, and the being in the sky looking down at them. Without moving her head to look at the girl beside her, she spoke in a loud voice, I'm Luna , Pleased to meet you. Luna stuck her hand out to the girl next to her, but not moving any more. And you are..?

Arashi shook Luna's hand. I'm Arashi. I see you like to look up at the stars.Arashi looked over then sat up.Can I stay with you for a while. I dont really have anywere to go.

Still looking down upon the beings, she noticed the had begun conversing. Smiling to herself, she swooped down gracefully and landed a few feet in front of the hybrids. Looking between the two, she noticed Luna and smiled. Amayah remembered her well, the animal lover, she like Luna. She then turned her head towards the other, she was not familiar with the other girl. Placing one foot in front of her, she bent her torso down and bowed her head low to the girl. "My name is Amayah, pleased to meet you." Amayah said politely to the girl as she straightened her back and looked back over at Luna. "We meet again, Luna." She said with a small smile.

Luna looked up at Amayah, Sup.? Luna stood up and walked over to Amayah. Looking back at Arashi, she walked back over and held out a hand. A gesture to help her up.
Luna looked over at Amayah, How are things going.? She asked with a bit of curiousity, and a bit of just plain conversing.

Smiling at Luna, she nodded her head casually. "Doing okay I suppose, you?" Amayah laughed. Looking back over at the girl who called herself Arashi, she frowned in confusion. "Stay where? Here? Here is not exactly home. Here is in the middle of fucking nowhere." She said with a smirk. "Pleased to meet you too, by the way Arashi."

Luna could feel the aingst rolling off of Arashi.. Ouuu.. I like this game.. rather well actually.. She said to Amayah. Well, I suppose you could hang around. But you have to do as your told. And clean up after yourself. She said in a stern yat gentle voice. OH! and you have to find my home first. Other wise you can't. Luna looked over at Amayah and made a face that resembled a cat. :3 [/i]

Arashi thought of this as a challange ... she didn't like challanges ... Fair enough.Arashi said this in an angry but calm voise. She really hoped she could find the right home.Can I have a hint at least,like what direction it is in.

Laughing at Luna, she looked over at Arashi. "Is this like some screwed up game of hide and seek? In which case, I am in. Hints would be good, I agree, Arashi." Amayah said with a smile. Glancing over at Luna's attempt at a cat face, she laughed again. "Trying to be a kitty, Luna? Rather odd activity for a fox, you think your canine instinct would take over and think I suck." Amayah told her teasinly. Her eyes twinkled playfully as she swished her tail back and forth calmly. These two were quite the characters.

Luna laughed out loud. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHS As she twitched her ears and waggede her tail, she spoke in riddles. Okay.. the door in which you seek can be found where darkness rules and the sun doesn't shine. Sounds are loud and echoed. Its damp and cold and not around here. Have fun.

I will never be able to find that. I'm terrible at riddles first of all, and second of all i was hoping it would at least be around here. Arashi stood still thinking. She was thinking that maybe this wasn't the right place for her. I don't know maybe this is the wrong place for me, maybe I should just keep looking for a home. Arashi sarted walking then stopped. Maybe she should just look for a while, maybe it wouldn't be as hard as she thought then she thoughtit was. I think i'll try to find it, Arashi once again found herself doing something she had not yet planned, but she went along with it anyway.

She listeneed to Luna's riddle as she opened her mind. Amayah knew her way around Egypt well, and knew exactly where it was. "I know where your home is, but... I already have a home. I have several. I live where I please, actually. Arashi, if you and Luna wouldn't mind, I think Ja-Kal would let you stay in his pyramid. Although, as long as you are not involved with The Watchers. If you are, I may have to get... unpleasant." Amayah finished a little more seriously as she looked at both girls.

You know I dont actually have a planned place to stay tonight I was just going to sleep here and look at the stars. That sounds like a better idea though.. and what the fuck is a Watchers.? Luna started with Arashi, then as she continued talking she slowely looked at Amayah.

Arashi felt just a little stupid because she almost forget what else she was going to say.Umm. Were is this piramid any way. Is it far because im still kind of tired from walking so long. Smirking, she was glad neither were Watchers, she was slightly full and did not have much more room for a meal, thought she wouldn't mind knawing on some bones right about now. "Don't worry about it then." She said to them both, dismissing The Watchers from the conversation. "The pyramid is not too far away, but the land around here is very dangrous with all that powdered glass lying about." She said casually. "I could fly you both, together you are light, I am pretty strong. Just as long as you balance out. I could carry you, Arashi, you are pretty light. Luna could go on my back, she is probably heavier, no offence, Luna." Amayah laughed.

Luna laughed at both of their comments.. None taken.. from either of you, and Im sure if its not that far, I could probably run, Im fairly fast.. I could keep up.. that would be easier on you wouldnt it.? Luna looked at Arashi and stood in front of her, and said quietly And Arashi, I'd like to say something to you. Yes. Yes I do.Arashi looked at Luna with couriosity. She hated when people said she may take offence. Even though she rarely ever took offence.
She was going to tell Luna that if she knows Arashi will take offence not to bother telling her, but then decided she really wanted to know. So she didn't say anything else.

Smiling over at Luna, she shook her head. "No, Luna... I would not suggest running around here. You will cut the fuck out of your feet, the glass here is hard on feet, trust me... I know. I didn't always have these wings to avoid that problem." She added with a laugh. "But, if you would rather give yourself a blood test, be my guest." She said with another laugh. Looking over at Arashi, she wondered what it was Luna had to say to her. Wondering if she should just move over to let them have their own privacy, she shuffled side ways a little, giving them space and staying silent, looking the other direction casually.

thanks for the advise amayah, she said as she watched amayah shuffle to the side. Leaning so she could whisper into Arashi's ear, she cupped her hands over her mouth, she made a loud, like really fuckin loud high pitched screeching sound and quickly backed away from her victim. Laughing, she looked over at Amayah and said I have a better idea then for you to carry both of us, and me not running under you guys. I could call my roomate, she would be here in about... Her voice trailed off as she pretended to look at a watch that wasnt on her arm. about ten minutes.. i think.. she said as her voice restored..

She looked over at Luna in slight curiosity as well. "I think her plan is to have this..." She cut off as she lifted her hands to do quotation fingers. "'friend' of her arrive to come and carry her, so i don't have such a hard time." Amayah told Arashi with a smile and short laugh. Out of nowehere, Amayah scratched her leg calmly aand looked back over at Luna. "Who is this 'friend', anyway, Luna?" She asked conversationally, Amayah began to wonder if she knew this person.
