Walking along the outskirts of a tarnished town, a young pink-haired male hummed cacophonously to himself. He thought that no one was around, so he didn't hesistate with making noise. It was a bit foolish of a move, but he payed no mind to this.

Finding a road that wasn't too badly tattered, he walked in carefully. Now is when he stopped his humming. There might not be anything dangerous on the outskirts, but there could be anything and anyone inside that would be hiding for a meal, and he knew this. Taking a few steps in, he saw a figure enter some scortched buildings. It didn't look too suspicious or shady looking, but it was always good to be careful. So, the male kept on his way, heading in the direction of the figure stealthily--or so he thinks.

The young teenager made his way through the rubble-filled roads, carefully stepping over pools of tar from burnt roads, and pools of radioactivity. He eventually found himself in front of the building the figure had disappeared into and merrily went into it, keeping his claws and self on edge, just in case something malacious were to come out to attack. He had high hopes, though, that he would have a new aquantance that wouldn't want to eat him, unlike awhile before.

The optimistic teenager kept his usual composure as he walked forward. Seeing the person within a few feet's distance, he waved with a blank smile. He was too happy, some said. This just proved that fact even more. He let his hand back down, and looked towards the hatchet that the person had in her hand. He then took a few steps back, hoping the person wasn't gonna hurt him.

The boy automatically felt relieved to see it was a good soul. He gave back the same warmhearted grin with a good skip and a hop over to the person. "I~ am Kinban~" He said, holding on to some of the words. "Niiiiiice t' meet 'cha~".

Kinban nodded with enjoyment. "That it is~ It's even on my collar, see~?" He said, pointing at his dog collar placed around his neck. He took a small breather to look around. Nothing seemed off, she must be truely nice.

With a smile on his face, be reached for the hand and shook it blissfully. "Nii~ce to meet you, Ne-zu-miiii~" He said, stressing out the syllables of her name.

Kinban retracted his hand once the handshake was over and patted down his pink hair, making sure it wasn't messy--a bad habit of his. "Uhhhhhhhm~ Let's seeeee............Well, I just kinda found my way here, I suppose~" He said, not being able to recollect any memories of how he got here, or why at that.

Kinban nodded, saying "Ooh, that's cool~". He looked around the building again, wondering if there was food around. Then he heard Nezumi's question and he scratched the back of his head. "I'm...er...not really sure..." He said, and his smile turned a bit awkward. He honestly can't remember anything. He looked down at his charcoal-colored shoes , pondering deeply on this. Nothin'. He can't even remember how he got here.

Kinban was humming to himself again, very ..very....VERY silently, as it was horribly cacophonous as usual. When he noticed Nezumi run off, he couldn't help but follow--He had nothing else to do, after all, and company was always nice, right? After catching up to Nezumi, he looked inside the window of the building curiously. Not paying attention, he accidently cut his hand on some of the broken glass, and winced a bit with pain.

Upon hearing the question, Kinban looked down at his hand and giggled nervously. "It's just a cut, nothing big." Brushing off the blood on his jeans, he worried that predators might smell the blood. He thought about it --but was cut off by Nezumi's random giggle. "Ehh? Thought about something funny~?" he asked with his curiousity showing up once again.

Seeing Nezumi dash off like that, Kinban was fully energized and wanted to play too! He got on all fours and dashed downt he street after her, hoping maybe she wanted to race--but he was stopped three quarters of the way when he heard the scream. Cautiously, he got up on his two feet and speedwalked over, hoping she was okay. The scream rang in his ears still by the time he turned the corner to see what was going on.
