The cure has not worked. All the mutants who took it found their powers slowly returning. By the end of a year the effects have completely worn off. Dr. Moira MacTaggert succeeded in bringing Xavier back through a new body, giving The X-men their leader back.

Fear for Human rights has been growing, ever since the cure was deemed a "fake". Many humans believe that Mutants created the fake to spark media attention, to bring more sympathy to their side. Thus the Friends of Humanity were formed. A terrible group of anti-mutant activists who were more then angered by the "fake cure".

Mutants all over North America have been disappearing, being taken by the Friends of Humanity to the sewers of New York. There they are fitted with a control collar and made to fight each other for sport and gambling. The terrifying thing is, there is no pattern to the kidnappings, any mutant could be taken.

One such mutant to have gone missing from their home is none other then Charles Xavier. But does the FOH have him? Or someone a bit more sinister?
