He could just imagine himself actually being able to defend himself with more speed and power and hunt down faster. He saw the sandstorm and the lightning sword like thing. Come on come on Zeus please he thought to himself.
The Thunderbeetle sneered at the kid. "So you want it to look cool?" He asked with disgust. "Don't waste my' time kid. This shit's dangerous. The things I can do would make you explode internally. Literally." he said, before turning around and walking away slowly.

"No I*'m weak and i need something to help me survive" Kato said. "please i have seen cats with fire powers that could pwn don't leave me unprepared" Kato pleaded. He was mad at himself he was. He knew he ruined his chance and he was pissed at himself.
Another sneer. Stopping his stride, he turned to face Kato again. Taking a deep breath, electricity coursed through his fingers, before he crouched down and slapped the ground. It exploded under him. Course dirt and earth shot into the air, sharp stones buffeting the Thunderbeetle's blue armor. "Do you honestly need this power when you can just use a sword or other blade?" He asked, rising back to his full height. "Now why... Why do you need this power?" He asked one final time. If he answered wrong.. Well, who knew what would happen?

Kato attempted a honest answer "its not the weapon that counts but the wielder if I had a sword how good do you think I would do i couldn't even touch you or the fire cat ". "You may not care about me and may be planning to kill or eat me but see me as a human being trying to live i have no sword practice a sword wont do much i never expected this" Kato said throwing his arms wide. "So please teach me your ways".
Swallowing slightly, the electrokinetic being paused. "So you think with this power you don't need any skill?" He asked quietly, sneering behind his armor. "If you fuck up with a sword, the least that would happen would be Nothing. If you fuck up with this power even once, you could fry yourself and die..." He explained, a ball of plasma forming in his outstretched hand. "But... Fine. I warned you. If you still want to try... Come take this ball from my hand and ingest it. Then I will teach you." He told him, the large ball shrinking to the size of a small marble. It crackled and glowed, illuminating the blue armor The Thunderbeetle was wearing.

Kato was so happy at the moment. he walked forward and took the ball and put it in his mouth and swallowed it whole. "thank you" Kato said. He hoped it wasn't a trap and it wouldn't roast him. The taste was so .... he couldn't explain it.
