Jendayi

I have come to provide thee with structure, I will train you; if thee wishes to join me in our journey to greatness. ~

Jendayi had been walking for days, and she was quite hungry. Looking around; she spotted some nearby deer hybrids. Using her stealth, she snuck up behind the herd and attacked, only killing one. Once she was done consuming her fill of the hybrid, she left a little less than half of the corpse for another hybrid who may need the nutrients. Humming to herself, there was a slight bounce in her calm stride. She wondered who else was around, or if anyone was interested in the fact she was back. Did anyone she meet survive?

Taking a good look around, she smiled brightly. Her heart began to hammer hard as she recognized where she was; she was home in Egypt. Letting out a happy cry, she walked around and noticed it was all powdered glass now. This did not bother her feet due to her armor, but she was slightly confused. In the distance, Jendayi saw a rather large pyramid… it looked familiar. She strained hard to think of her past to pull out a memory of this pyramid, without luck, however. Sadly, Jendayi remembers nothing of the past, only Ja-Kal and The Watchers.

Walking forward, Jendayi made way to enter the pyramid; who knows, if it was safe enough… this could be her new home. About twenty feet from it, she sniffed the air… something smelled very familiar. It couldn’t be…Ja-Kal? She picked up her pace as she made her way to the entrance; she was filled with excitement, this was a feeling she had not felt in awhile…happiness was a nice feeling. ~

Twin orbs of gold flashed into existence as Ja-Kal's eyes snapped open. Sliding the lid off of the sarcophagus he slept in, his eyes snapped shut once more as light invaded his iris'. He wasn't ready for it. He wasn't thinking straight. Rubbing them with a bandaged, armrored hand, he spun himself out of the gold coffin and slid onto the floor. There was a disturbance in the force. Someone was approaching his home, in other words. Sliding over to the hole in the ceiling, he grunted. A set of wings popped out of his back, golden and massive. Crouching, he leaped into the air and began flapping hard as he ascended. Clawing at the tunnel walls as he did this, it helped shoot him into the air. The closer he got to the opening, the better he could sense the vibrations. The weight and shape of the person felt familiar. Incredibly familiar.

Erupting into the sky, he swiveled to face the 'intruder', and his jaw nearly dropped. It couldn't be?! It was! His wife... "JENDAYI!" He roared from the sky, divebombing to the ground near her. Of course, Falcon's gave him 200 miles per hour diving speeds. His weight added to that rounded it up to 300. He hit the ground fast. In an explosion of glass dust, he grabbed onto Jendayi and held her tightly in his arms, his wings flapping slightly as he pulled her into the air with her, spinning slowly as he held her tightly.

Looking up, she was slighly taken aback by her name being screamed. Her eyes widened with panic as she noticed who it was, her eyes filled with joy. "Ja-Kal!" She cried as she hugged him back tightly. Slightly surprise by their sudden liftoff, she looked down with a shocked expression on her face.

Grinning massively, he tilted his head so his bird-mask armor wouldn't scalp her, and kissed her softly, his lips lingering on hers. Inhaling deeply, his eyes closed slightly as he enjoyed holding her in his arms again. He loved her taste on his lips, her scent in his nostrils. Kissing her slightly harder this time, he pressed his body against hers tightly, pulling her into him. as he steered them through the air towards his pyramid.

Her tail danged lazily behind her, as did her feet; closing her eyes, she kissed him back just as hard. She missed him so much, it was amazing to see him again. Purring loudly, she breathed deeply; she wondered where he was taking her.

Landing gently on the pyramid, his tongue snaked between his lips and licked hers gently, before he pulled away. "Come on... I live down here now." He told her, as he wrapped his arm around her waist and drew her closer to the hole in the pyramid that led to his little hang out.

Smiling up at him brightly she nuzzled his cheek. "Alright" Jendayi said soflty as she got closer to him and waited for him to take off again. "I forgot how much flying with you was" She told him and laughed to herself.

With a smirk, he kissed her on the cheek before tipping over, sending the two plunging into the darkness. Extending his wings once more, he guided them through the tunnel upside down, the familiar look of joy on his face that was always etched on when he was flying into his pyramid.
