Chikiba walked along a cracked street. Below and in front of her feet potholes were sketched into the pavement. Sighing, she stopped and looked around. Charred buildings, broken glass, and wood encircled her gaze not letting her go. She stood there, in silence and awe at the remains,.. of Nigeria...

Hours went by, her nap went splendidly. Her eyelids opened slowly and drowsily as bubbles rose from her nostrils. Kicking her feet lazily, she rose to the surface of the ocean. Poking her head on top of the water, she yawned a little and looked around. She had not been around here, this area was new to her. Wondering how she got here, she realized that she had fallen asleep in the water, the currents more than likely took her away. Jumping out of the water and stretching her legs on the land, she realized how long she was in the water. Caden had been asleep for nearly 6 hours, and swimming around for a full day. This was an advantage, Caden could now go a full 12 hours on land before needing water badly. She smiled at this thought and began to walk.
Smelling the air for food, she smelled human, her favorite. "Wait, isn't everyone human because of the war now?" "Exactly", her inner thoughts argued sarcastically. Looking around her, she sniffed the air again, the scent a bit stronger. Caden now caught the species, feline... more specifically, female. Oh, another cat girl? Cats around here multiply like rabbits, Caden thought with a cackle to herself. Whatever, a meal is a meal, is it not? She thought sadistically as her blue eyes glinted cruelly. Laughing quietly to herself, she followed the delectable odour.

Chikiba caught the scent of someone appraching from water. This species was new to her nostrils and after a moment of recollection, she couldnt determine what it was. It must be aquatic to be comming from water though.
She felt a little out of herself today, like she was overwhelmed with boredom. She became boreded with the slightest of things. The thought of someone wanting to possibly eating her did not faze her in the least. She didnt even really care if she were to be eaten. Something inside her was not right, she had this feeling of being unsettled. Emptiness filled her body instead of happiness and other shit. Her gaze still locked on the skeletal facade of Nigeria, she scratched her right leg with her left.

Still pursuing the creature, the scent got stronger. Walking a little faster, she began to see a figure in the distance. Walking a bit slower as she saw the blob-like figure (she was still rather far away), she wondered if it was hungry too. Smiling to herself, she continued her journey in a moderately slow pace.

Chikiba sniffed the air once again. She found that the scent was getting stronger. Whatever it was, it was getting closer to her. Then something caught her eye. In the distance, a shadow colored figure bobed back and forth. Sighing, chikiba unbuttoned the pocket of her holster and withdrew her long blade. Did she really have to do this today..?

Squinting a bit to get a better view of the figure, she strained her eyes a little to see what it was doing. She saw the female take out a long blade. Oh so that's how you want it? Bad kitty! Caden thought smugly as she walked a little faster towards the girl. She did not exactly want to fight now that the girl had a weapon. It wasn't fear that over come her (yeah, a shark is scared of a fucking cat), it was in fact boredum that struck her. Food that fights back can get boring. She likes it quick and painful, besides... she did not feel like eating sword today. Sighing to herself, she admitted defeat on a quick bite to eat. She decided to play instead. "HERE KITTY KITTY KITTY!" Caden called with a sneer. Walking faster, she now could make out her features perfectly, she was only about 10 feet away now with a huge grin painted on her face.

Dar-Zee leaped out of the water. He slid up his goggles and looked around. Hmm. interesting...i think ill take a look around. Dar-Zee's stomach grumbled. "I guess ill have to find food. I dont think i want meat this time. I'm kinda craving cheese.." he said to himself. He started to walk around. It was a few moments later he saw something..like another person. He got closer. He was excited. He started to run towards it as fast as he could. Maybe IT had food. Maybe it will give it some! His mine raced. IM SO HUNGRY! Giving a giant roar dar-zee leaped towards the figure, before he could dar-zee tripped over a piece of wood lying on the ground. He fell face first making a giant pounding sound. He looked up, "...got any cheese?" His goggles slid down over his eyes.

Chikiba heard the persons sarcastic greeting. Oh, so I'm dealing with a smartass now am I? "Who are you calling a kitty? Better becareful who you insult, you may find yourself injured." She shot back at the unknown person. The figure got closer and as her eyes adjusted, she saw that it was a shark fused with something else. How interesting she thought examining the blue haired girl. Chikiba was startled abruptly by a loud thump behind the girl. Peering over her shoulder, she saw a third hybrid though it was too far away to identify the origin animal. "Klutz much?" She said raising an eyebrow at the third. "And why would either of us have cheese? I am a panther, I dont concern myself with devouring such icky food." She finished making a discusted face.

Smirking at her response, she noted the kitty did not like her very much, shocker!"Well, I did not know you're name, so I improved. Calm down miss. I am Caden.~" She said with a loud laugh. Just as she was about to retort angrily to the girl about her threat, she was distracted by a loud noise behind her. Someone had fallen. Before she turned around, she heard 'got any cheese' and almost bursting out laughing at the randomness that was behind her. She listened to the girl's angry response, someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed, she thought to herself.
Turning around to face the amusing person, her eyes and widened farther than ever. Gasping dramatically, she screamed in excitement. Another shark! Another shark! Oh my god, another shark! Caden freaked out in her mind, grabbing him by his shoulders, she lifted him up and brushed the dirt off of him. Panting heavily she looked over his whole appearance, he was also part octapus. She could not believe her eyes! Wrapping her arms around him tightly, she pulled him close into a close embrace and jumped up and down ever so slightly. This was the second best day ever. ~ Thinking of Kihot as she looked him over still, she let him go and backed up a small bit. "As I said... I am Caden. Who are you?" She said in awe. She could not get over another shark, that was two sharks in a week, she had never been more happy in her life.

Dar-Zee groaned and slowly got up. Before he could speak, the other shark hybrid grabbed him by his shoulders. She mentioned her name, Caden. "I'm...Dar-Zee" he said, not knowing whats going on. "Uhm.." looks over at the cat hybrid. "Sorry, just a craving i've been having lately. I just ate a very good meal. A guy with wings left it for me..." Dar-Zee stopped. "Wait, what are you guys doing here?" he asked.

Chikiba looked at the love affair going on between the two other hybrids. She perked up her ears though when Dar-zee explained about the cheese. "I see.." she said examining him more closely. He didnt look like the rodent type. How odd that he'd want cheese..

Backing up a little more, she turned at the words of the cat-girl and smirked. "You know, you really are quite the cranky girl today. Did someone wake up on the wrong side of the tree?" Caden said in baby-talk sarcastically. She knew the girl was easy to piss off, Caden enjoyed that. Shifting her body again, she looked at Dar-Zee. "Dar-Zee, huh? I love your name!" She smiled a toothy grin, oh that smile of hers...
Crossing her arms and slouching slightly, she went into her more casual pose. "Sorry about all of that. I just have not met any sharks in a long time. I only met one besides you... He was something else. I hope you and I will be good friends. In fact, you seem rather young. How old, exactly? Wait! Let me guess... hrmm... 10? Possibly 11? You are tiger shark and an octopus, and human, obviously. I take it you had a rather hard childhood too..." Caden said rather nysteriously. Reading people was fun. She hoped to make a new shark friend, how she loved them so.
